Bee Block Syndrome

Man o\’ man. I am getting back on track with bee blocks. Getting them done super early. Go me! Now I just need to mail them when I finish them until waiting until the end of the month. Gosh. That post office run is not as fun as making bee blocks.. I\’m working on it. Hopefully I will get them mailed Saturday.

I have been doing bee blocks for almost 3 years now and I think I\’m ready to weed them down. I will not be joining any new bees for a very long time and luckily several of my bees are starting to end. I do love doing them, quick satisfaction and you get a full quilt every now and again. The only thing is that I am a very busy person and I haven\’t been able to work on my own stuff much because when I am pressed for time I do the bee blocks because that is a commitment I have made to others and in that case they come before my own projects. That being said, I have a lot that I would like to work on. One day. When I\’m not super busy with bee blocks. I think I will just keep my do. good. stitches. and possibly my BeeJeebers bee. I am not going to quit any of them, as my mother taught me, if you start something, you have to finish it. So I will. And then I will do my projects. I know tons of other people have gotten this syndrome so I know I\’m not alone. Good luck to you all. May you not sign up for as much as I. 🙂

Anyways…Here are the blocks for July.

  1. Wow! That orange and aqua one is an attention getter! (In a good way!) I'm working with red/black/grey/white fabrics right now so I'm especially partial to that last block. Plus, I love the pattern!

  2. Wow. That is an impressive collection. I have just done my first ever bee blocks and I got over excited by the experience and signed up for more bees. Love the simply solid blocks in particular.

  3. Great job on getting ahead!I know what you mean about bee blocks and swaps, I've caught myself several times in the last couple of months about to sign up for something, and then realising that if I do, I won't get anything done for me (and that's usually not even really for me, but pressies for other people)
